Seconding What Farrakhan said Is Dangerous, but I'll do it....

In national news, FinalCall.com mentions an article written by Richard Muhammad titled Farrakhan: Black America Must Change to Survive. Farrakhan lecture titled The Time and what must be done mentions the need for Black America to change. The lecture is based on scripture and the current social conditions of Blacks in America. He mentions the need to act now to move our communities forward. By act he means be better and do better because once you know Jack then you’re a$& is responsible. I know a lot of people really hate Farrakhan but many of his principles are based on biblical moral and values. No explanation needed just refer to some of his YouTube.com or Finalcall.com videos that are posted online. Listen to his message/warning. I have heard many say “Isn’t he an anti-Semite (meaning he hates Jews)?” My answer is once again listening to his speeches and reading the FinalCall.com you will come to understand his message/warning. He makes logical sense out of what is going on in America and abroad which really puts it all into perspective for me. He wants the best for all people but there are many people who cast him down so that the masses will cringe, never listen to a word he says, and outcast him at the sound of hearing his name. I nearly hesitated on blogging about him for fear of most of my friends and family saying “You listen to Louis Farrakhan; you are suppose to be a Christian”. My philosophy in life is that I should educate myself on the practices of all religions. One of which is Islam. I take the good things from all religions especially Islam and put them into daily practice in my life. We all need to recognize that if we stop learning we stop growing.

In many ways our growth is being stunted because we tend to do the same thing over and over expecting a different result. It is pure ISANITY when you do this. Well not me; I try to take a different route to work on most days so that I am constantly training my brain to work to connect new paths to lead me to the same destination. You should try it. We have to try a different way. I am not saying become a Muslim if you are a Christian. But what I am saying is that we should all consider learning from those who are around us. This war on terrorism or terrorist war has made it hard for some Muslims to live in America. Just imagine your chosen religion being Christianity (which for many of us “Yes it is”) and one of your fellow brothers or sisters in Christ did something to offend the group. Then what should be the group’s next step? I am asking everyone to take a moment and answer the question how does one person that represents the whole group respond to others to let them know that the group means well. You will have to agree this will be a challenge for the groups’ leader to take on.

I know I am on a soap box here, but if I don’t say it then who will.
